Advanced Stretching Techniques

When you’re able to start putting in hours of practice, our physical limitations start becoming more obvious. Check out this video on ways of loosing up our left wrist:

Quick Solutions:

  1. Try not to play for more than an hour w/o a ten minute break.
  2. Do a proper warm-up before you start playing.
  3. Do stretches before you practice and during practice breaks.
  4. Ten seconds min. per stretch.

Long term Solutions:

  1. Posture – practice standing up with a guitar strap.
  2. Use a footstool and play the guitar on your left thigh.
